A former furniture store is set to be transformed into a new hub for creative and wellness businesses.
Worcestershire-based Asper Property Group has purchased the 7,057 sq ft building at 275 Worcester Road in Malvern Link for £435,000, with plans to convert it into The Townhouse—a design-led centre featuring 11 offices, studios, and treatment rooms.
The building is the former home of Francis of Malvern
Charlie London, founder and managing director of Asper, said: “This prominently positioned detached three-storey property offers us an excellent canvas for transformation.
“For many years it was occupied by a local furniture store.
“We could see the potential for asset management, and over the next nine months, it will be transformed into a design-led collection of 11 offices, studios and treatment rooms, all available to rent.”

The development will also include two retail units.
When fully let, the offices have an estimated gross rental value of £110,000.
Mr London added: “This is a carefully converted destination offering a range of flexible unit types for creative, design and wellbeing-led businesses.
“It has high-quality finishes throughout, and views that few Midlands workspaces can match.”
Asper’s approach focuses on regenerating underused commercial properties and turning them into vibrant new destinations.
Commercial agents Bulleys have been instructed to market The Townhouse.
A coach house at the rear of the property has also been refurbished and will soon be offered for sale, freehold, for offers in excess of £225,000.
