A theatre company is bringing a series of five seaside-themed playlets to a theatre.
Swan Theatre Amateur Company (STAC) will stage Jean McConnell’s Deckchairs at the Swan Theatre studio from May 27 to May 30 at 7.45pm.
The five conversations, taking place on a seaside promenade, explore themes of love, longing, and betrayal, along with shopping sprees and dog companions.
The playlets include Doggies, which compares two different views on living with a woman’s best friend, and Early Blight, which examines a fraught mother-daughter relationship and reveals a dark secret.
