Power cut leaves dozens of homes in Worcestershire village without electricity

DOZENS of properties in a Worcestershire village are without electricity after being hit by a power cut.

53 homes and businesses in Sedgeberrow have been experiencing a blackout since this morning (Wednesday).

Eight postcodes, all in the WR11 area, are reportedly being affected by the outage.

A spokesperson for National Grid said: “There is a fault on the underground power cables in your area.

“Our engineers are working hard to get your power back on.”

National Grid has not yet provided an estimate of when power will be restored to properties in the village.
