Pups of all shapes and sizes stole the show at a care home’s recent dog show.
Latimer Court Care Home hosted a community dog show, bringing together residents, families, and the local community for a day of fun and furry competition.
Canine visitors competed in a range of light-hearted categories judged by residents, including ‘waggiest tail’ and ‘handsome hound’.
Operations manager Catherine Campbell said: “The day was a wonderful success. It was fantastic to see residents, families, friends and the community coming together and sharing such a joyful experience, creating some truly special memories for everyone involved.”
There was something for everyone to enjoy, with freshly prepared food from a BBQ, refreshments, and live entertainment for guests, while dogs enjoyed special ‘puppachinos’.
The care home thanked everyone who attended and helped make the event a success.
Latimer Court is part of Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers. The home offers nursing, residential, and dementia care, as well as respite stays for individuals who need short-term support.
