‘Rare and stunning’ classic Rolls Royce on the market for under £35,000

A ‘rare and stunning’ Rolls Royce is on the market for under £35,000 despite doing less than 50,000 miles.

The 1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph has been listed on Exchange and Mart by SJ Rayner Cars, Worcester Road, near Kidderminster.

The five-door saloon, with its V12 BMW engine, was the first Rolls Royce 12-cylinder car launched by the company in almost six decades.

The 5.4 litre engine offered drivers a not-so-economically friendly mpg of 16.2, something which would not be of too much concern to anyone who had just purchased a £155,000 car in 1998(equivalent to £307,000 today).

The dashboard trim is faced with burl walnut veneer, and the car is equipped with a number of features, including heating seats, electric front seats, electric sunroof, front and rear parking aid, and air conditioning.

This 1998 model, one of the first produced during the model’s five-year production cycle, has done just 49,500 miles and is priced at £34,990.

A spokesperson for S.J. Rayner Cars said: “We are pleased to offer this very rare and stunning example of a Rolls Royce Silver Seraph.

“This is a clearly cherished, low-mileage Rolls Royce, finished in lustrous silver pearl and French navy-blue leather.

“This amazing car is a true credit to its previous owners.”
