THE REASON why a city supermarket was unexpectedly evacuated has been revealed.
Staff and customers stood outside Waitrose on London Road after alarms unexpectedly rang in the store today (Tuesday).
A spokesperson for the Worcester Waitrose branch has since revealed the reason behind the evacuation.
It said: “The branch evacuated customers due to an accidental alarm.
“Customers were able to re-enter the shop shortly afterwards and everything is back to normal now.”
