Weekend booking restrictions have been eased at a household recycling centre.
Worcestershire County Council has increased the number of weekend visits that can be booked at Quantry Lane Household Recycling Centre in Bromsgrove.
Within a 14-day period the number of visits allowed Saturday to Monday has tripled from two to six (subject to availability).
The new rules started on July 23.
Weekend visitors will continue to book their visits online with appointments available up to 14 days in advance.
No bookings are required for visits from Tuesdays to Fridays.
The move followed complaints from residents about the booking system.
Councillor Josh Robinson, Worcestershire County Councillor with responsibility for environment and communities, said: “After listening to residents’ concerns, we’ve tripled the number of bookings they can make for weekends from two to six every 14 days, we’re giving people much greater flexibility while continuing to provide an efficient service.”
