A RUSH-HOUR crash between an Audi and a Mercedes led to delays as police guided traffic.
The collision happened this morning at the roundabout near the M&S Food garage in St John’s at the junction of Bromwich Road and Malvern Road.
The Audi sustained heavy damage to its front left axle, while the Mercedes was damaged on the driver’s side of the bonnet.
Delays were reported in the area, particularly at the entrance to the roundabout near Ego restaurant.
Police managed traffic at the scene, with only one direction able to pass at a time, leading to queues along Bromwich Road and Malvern Road.
