A SCHOOL has issued a reminder after national rules on mobile phones came into force.
The Chase, a secondary school in Malvern, shared the reminder after the UK government implemented a school phone ban, starting this year.
While the school has been phone-free for some time, it said pupils in years 7 to 11 must now keep phones, smartwatches and headphones switched off and out of site until they have left the school at the end of the day.

There are exceptional circumstances, such as for pupils who have medical needs.
The school said that pupils caught breaking this rule would have their phone confiscated and that parents or carers would have to collect it from the school.
“By working together, we can ensure that The Chase remains a safe, calm and purposeful environment in which every student can thrive,” said headteacher Mike Fieldhouse in a letter to parents.
