AN air ambulance landed on a field in Worcester where travellers are staying.
The aircraft was spotted by people passing by Diglis Playing Fields on Saturday afternoon (July 11), as well as my residents living nearby.
“I heard some police sirens but can’t confirm they were related as have not seen them,” said one Diglis resident, who asked to remain anonymous.
By around 2pm, the air ambulance had left the scene.
The playing fields are currently occupied by a large group of travellers, with more than 10 caravans having been parked there since Tuesday (July 7).

It’s unclear if the incident had any connection to the group.
The travellers have overstayed the deadline of notice requiring them to leave by 6pm on Thursday (July 9).
Worcester City Council said on Friday (July 10) that it would be seeking a court order requiring them to vacate the site.
