A network of secret wartime tunnels beneath Worcestershire will open to visitors this weekend as restoration work continues at Drakelow Tunnels Museum.
Visitors can choose between a standard guided tour or an extended “Guided Discovery Tour,” which includes Second World War and Cold War footage.
Visitors can glimpse areas such as the Second World War Shadow Factory Area and the BBC Studio/Producers Room.
The open day serves not only as an exploration of history but also as a fundraiser for the ongoing renovations, with all proceeds contributing to the preservation of this historical site.
Due to safety concerns amidst the renovations, children under 10 are not permitted.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 22.
Tickets start from £7.75 and can be purchased via Eventbrite, with an option for additional donations.
