Teen sentenced after stealing motorbike and setting fire at city park

A teenage boy has been sentenced for stealing a motorcycle and setting fire to parkland.

The 15-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, admitted both offences, which took place over the summer.

He pleaded guilty to stealing a motorcycle, and to committing arson by damaging parkland owned by Worcester City Council.

The boy was handed two sentences of four months in a detention centre, which will run concurrently to each other.

This forms part of an 18-month detention and training order.
