TEN fruit and vegimals are together for the final time before going on safari in Evesham.
The unique creations are currently being painted in Worcester by artist Catt Standen, before being released into the wild tomorrow (July 24).
Set to be placed throughout Evesham, the fruit and vegimals summer safari aims to promote alternatives to ultra-processed foods for children, all the while increasing footfall in the town.

Waitrose, Macs Fruit & Veg, and Ellenden Farm Shop are just some of the businesses which will host the characters.
A trail map is available online, and the trail will end on September 6.
Worcester artist, Catt Standen, who is currently painting the fruit and vegimals, said: “They have taken a while to be fair.
“They were dropped off last night (July 22), and I’ve been working really, really hard throughout the night.
“I’m a creative through and through.

“I’ve built my own sculptures before; I’ve done mural work; I did do a giraffe back in 2018, for Wild in Art.
“I’ve done lots of bits and pieces here and there. I love doing anything creative, and these are great.”
Cllr Robert Raphael, a member of the Evesham Place Board, said: “They are awesome.
“Each one took around 300 hours to create.

“They will be a great trail for tourists and locals alike, and hopefully they will be fun for everyone.”
The Fruit & Vegilam Summer Safari has been funded by The Valley and aims to keep families in the Vale entertained throughout the Summer.

Phil Maclean, chair of the Evesham Place Board, said: “”They are incredible.
“It’s such a brilliant trail and fun to do.
“Fun is number one on the list of why we created the trail.
“Second was to convey a healthy diet and to move children away from ultra-processed food.

“Third is to drive footfall into the town.
“It’s a great free event that will hopefully keep the whole family entertained.
“Seeing how brilliant they are, I could explode; I’m that excited.”
