A PRIVATE school has put forward retrospective plans for outdoor lighting near its sports pavilion.
RGS in Worcester wants to retain the external lighting it installed at its playing fields in Flag Meadow Walk in June 2025 without planning permission.
Retrospective proposals have now been submitted to Worcester City Council.
The plans state that the lights were put in place along the existing fence for safe access.
RGS was recently named as a finalist for the Co-educational Independent School of the Year award, which headmaster John Pitt said reflected the “considerable commitment” of pupils and staff.
