A NEW housing development building 128 homes in a Worcestershire village has revealed that its 33 shared ownership homes are coming soon.
Bromford will deliver 33 shared ownership homes in Wychbold, Worcestershire, as part of its new Coff Crown Lane development.
It forms part of the development that will see 128 social rented and shared ownership homes on Crown Lane after Wychavon District Council approved the plans earlier this year.

Of the 128 homes, 95 will be earmarked for social rent and allocated to families on the local council’s waiting list.
Now 33 shared ownership homes will be delivered on the 17.3-acre site by spring 2027.
Simon Kershaw, head of construction at Bromford, said: “We’ve seen real success with our schemes in Offenham and Pershore, where we’ve built not only great homes that will stand the test of time, but communities where people will love to live.”
The shared ownership model allows buyers to purchase typically between 25 and 75 per cent of a property, paying a mortgage and deposit on that portion and rent on the remainder.
Over time, owners can increase their share through a process known as staircasing, with the potential to eventually own the property outright.
Mr Kershaw said: “We take real pride in the quality and consistency of the homes we build, and the communities we cultivate.
“Buyers at Crown Gardens can expect that same signature attention to detail, high specification and quality finish.”
Shared ownership is seen as a more accessible route to homeownership, particularly in areas like Worcestershire where house prices are above the UK average.

According to Rightmove, the average property in Worcestershire sold for nearly £330,000 in the past year, compared to the UK average of £298,468 reported by Lloyds.
Claire Richardson, head of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “Wychbold is a wonderful place to put down roots, with Bromsgrove in one direction and Droitwich in another.
“Shared Ownership adds a different angle to that dynamic and we’re excited to bring 33 new Shared Ownership homes to the market here.”
