IMPROVEMENT works are underway in Malvern town centre.
Malvern Hills District Council said it is sprucing up Belle Vue Island after it started to show “signs of deterioration”.
It said it will be tidying up the handrails, posts, bins, and railings.

Work started on Monday (April 13) and are due to continue for two weeks.
There aren’t any road closures but some parking spaces on Belle Vue Terrace are unavailable.
“Thank you for your patience and we will keep you updated,” a council spokesperson said.
