A SEVEN hundred-year-old pub has finally announced its reopening date following a delay.
The Mug House, in Claines, near Worcester, has been closed since the beginning of the month due to the departure of landlord Russell Allen.
Its new landlords have revealed the pub will reopen to customers tomorrow (June 12) at 5pm.

A spokesperson for the pub said: “A new chapter begins at The Mug House.
“From Friday, June 12 at 5pm, we’ll be opening our doors once again, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome you all.
“Whether you’re a familiar face or visiting for the first time, come along, raise a glass, and help bring this wonderful pub back to life.
“Here’s to good company, great conversation, and making new memories together.”
Before the closure, The Mug House was run by the Allen family for more than 20 years, with Russell eventually taking over from his mother Judy Allen.
It was closed after the landlord left due to ill health.
