Man fined hundreds after being caught speeding on motorway

A DRIVER has been fined hundreds of pounds after being caught speeding on a motorway.

Manned speed equipment caught Anthony Harris, 25, breaking the 70mph speed limit while he was driving on the M50 near Pendock.

He appeared at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (August 5), where he pleaded guilty to speeding.

Harris, of Greatfield Lane, Cheltenham, was handed a fine of £369, as well as six points on his driving licence.

He was also ordered to pay £130 in costs and a surcharge of £148.
