Man who destroyed custody cell among the latest Worcester cases heard in court

A MAN who harassed a woman by visiting her home and a man who destroyed a police cell are among the latest Worcester residents to appear in the dock.

Every day, scores of people appear before the magistrates’ court, receiving anything from a fine to time in prison.

Here are the cases involving people from Worcester who have appeared in court in the past week:

Christopher Morris

Age: 39
Address: Norfolk Road, Worcester

Morris harassed a woman by making multiple phone calls, leaving numerous voicemails and visiting her home between April 1 and May 10.

He was fined £400, ordered to pay £200 compensation, and made subject to a restraining order preventing contact with the woman and banning him from entering the street she lives on, until September 2028.

Michael Aldridge

Age: 53
Address: Spring Hill, Worcester

Aldridge used threatening or abusive behaviour intended to cause harassment, alarm or distress towards Sudarshan Shanmuganathan on June 30.

He also assaulted a police officer and damaged a Worcester police custody cell on the same date.

He received a 12-month community order running and was ordered to pay compensation of £350.

Jeremy Moss

Age: 31
Address: Bath Road, Worcester

Moss assaulted an on-duty paramedic on September 7.

He was made subject to an 18-month community order and fined £40.

Keith Pugh

Age: 63
Address: Ashford Road, Rushwick

Pugh exceeded a 50 mph speed limit on the A449 between Crossway Green and Ombersley on November 11, 2025.

He received a six-month driving disqualification after reaching the penalty points limit, and a £283 fine.

Rebekah Smith

Age: 39
Address: Sansome Walk, Worcester

Smith was caught driving a Hyundai IX35 on Sansome Walk while disqualified and without any insurance on August 9.

She was handed a 12-month driving ban and fined £200.
