Houses are being snapped up at new 52 home estate in Worcestershire village

MORE than half of the homes at a new 52 house development in the heart of a Worcestershire village have already been sold.

The Hamlet, a 52-home scheme by Worcester-based Lioncourt Homes in Leigh Sinton, launched in November 2025 and has seen strong interest from buyers drawn to its setting near the Malvern Hills.

Jack Jones, head of sales and marketing at Lioncourt Homes, said: “It only feels like yesterday that we were opening the doors to The Hamlet for the very first time, so to have passed the halfway sold milestone already is a fantastic achievement.

“As a business, it reinforces the strength of the homes that we offer, but also just how sought-after Leigh Sinton and the areas around the Malvern Hills are.

“Buyers are often telling us that they love the countryside setting and community feel.

“Being close to Worcester, Malvern and Ledbury means they don’t have to sacrifice on convenience.”

The development features a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes, with the first residents having moved in earlier this year.

The Hamlet also includes a contribution of more than £350,000 in Section 106 funding to support education, transport, healthcare, play areas, and green spaces in the surrounding area.

Fifteen of the homes will be made available through social rent or shared ownership.

A four-bedroom show home, The Damson, is open to visitors and was designed in collaboration with Interior Allure.

Steph Clibbery, director at Interior Allure, said: “With The Damson, it was important to capture the feeling of the Malvern Hills: walking, fresh air, trees, and nature.

“Everything has been designed to foster a sense of belonging and comfort, while creating that aspirational ‘this is what home can be’ feeling.”

The development is situated between Worcester, Malvern, and Ledbury, just off the A4103, providing easy access to the M5 and A44 for commuters.

Nearby schools include Leigh and Bransford Primary, Dyson Perrins C of E Academy, and The Chase School in Malvern.
