A restaurant in Kidderminster has been named among the top 10 per cent in the world by Tripadvisor.
Chef’s Kitchen on Lower Mill Street has been recognised by the Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice award as being among the top 10 per cent of restaurants worldwide.
Owner Sharawan Bagoriya, who has run the restaurant for more than six years, said: “We were very happy to receive the email to say we were among the top 10 per cent of restaurants worldwide and ranked the best in Kidderminster on Tripadvisor.
“This achievement means so much to us and we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful customers for your continued support, kind reviews and being part of our journey.
“We couldn’t have achieved this without you. Your support inspires us to continue serving delicious food and creating memorable experiences. From everyone at The Chef’s Kitchen, Kidderminster, thank you for being part of our success.”

The Indian and Nepalese restaurant, which has a 105-seat capacity, currently has a rating of 4.8 stars on TripAdvisor.
Reviewers have praised the dining atmosphere as well as the “extensive menu” with one reviewer saying they were “extremely impressed” with the service.
One reviewer said: “The food was very tasty and we were well looked after. It was our first visit but it won’t be our last.”
Another reviewer said: “Food and service excellent as always.”
Mr Bagoriya has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years and said he has previously worked in top hotels in both India and the UK.
He said he is looking to open more restaurants in Worcestershire in the future.
He added: “We are very proud of our achievements since opening. We’ve been ranked number one for food service across several review sites, including Google and Tripadvisor.”
