A FOUR-star boutique hotel in Worcestershire with an award-winning restaurant has been put up for sale after its owners bid farewell.
The Cotford Hotel in Malvern, a former residence of the Bishop of Worcester dating back to 1851, is on the market for £1,850,000.
Owners Chris and Barbara Morgan, who have run the business for 20 years, are selling the property to focus on their retirement.

In a statement, they said: “We arrived in Great Malvern in 2007 to enter a new chapter in our lives by establishing a fine-dining element coupled with a stylish hotel.
“We feel that we have achieved this handsomely and it’s now time to step back after over 55 years in the industry.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we make this decision, but we feel that we have applied a measurable amount of TLC to this amazing building and it’s now ready for its next chapter.

The Gothic-style Victorian property includes 15 bespoke en suite rooms and the two AA Rosette L’Amuse-Bouche Restaurant, along with a cocktail bar, lounge, and dining room overlooking landscaped gardens.
