Bus shelters reinstated a year after series of suspected arson attacks

BUS shelters have been reinstated in Malvern a year after a series of suspected arson attacks.

The two wooden shelters on the A449 at Newland, which were reduced to rubble by fires last year, have been replaced.

During the spate of attacks in April and May 2025, wooden shelters on Poolbrook Road and Peachfield Road also suffered significant damage.

In September 2025, West Mercia Police said each incident had been investigated but no suspects were identified, so the investigations were subsequently closed.
