THE Droitwich community are calling for volunteers to help support a new music and arts festival.
The town, which “has always had a great tradition and community”, needs support for its new and vibrant festival that will launch next year.
The town is looking for volunteers to help run its new Droitwich Music and Arts Festival in 2027 and is asking interested parties to attend a talk on July 28 at the Old Cock Pub.

Councillor Richard Morris said: “Please join us and let’s build on the fantastic Rik Mayall Comedy festival, and other great festivals, and show Droitwich is a real centre for great music and arts.”
Droitwich is steeped in local tradition and community get-togethers, and it hosts many free afternoon gigs in Lido Park each Sunday.
Those who wish to volunteer are gathering at the Old Cock pub between 6pm and 7.30pm.
