DRIVERS have been warned of an M5 carriageway closure through Worcester tonight.
The M5 northbound carriageway between junction 8 (Strensham) and junction 9 (Tewksbury) will be closed by National Highways tonight (May 1).

National Highways revealed the reason behind the closure is to allow maintenance works to take place.
Diversions have been put in place by National Highways and Worcestershire County Council.
The closure will take place between 9pm and 6am.
