HOUSEHOLDS in Worcestershire struggling with rising energy costs could receive £300 in support.
Low-income households across Worcestershire who rely on heating oil or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) will be able to get a one-off £300 contribution towards the cost of an oil or LPG delivery.
Worcestershire County Council hope the Oil and LPG Energy Support Scheme will help those struggling with rising energy costs.

A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: “The scheme provides vital assistance to residents who are at immediate risk of running out of fuel and losing the ability to heat their homes or access hot water.
“Payments are made directly to the fuel supplier and are designed as crisis relief to help households maintain essential heating and hot water.”

Residents need to live in Worcestershire, use heating oil or LPG as their main source of heating and hot water and be at risk of losing this.
