BIN crews in Worcester will start an hour earlier to reduce their time spent in the heat as extreme weather warnings are issued.
The Worcester teams will start work an hour earlier between Tuesday and Friday to reduce time spent working during the hottest part of the day.
Residents are advised to put bins out by 6am all week.

The Met Office said an “exceptional” heatwave is on the way, with temperatures forecast to climb as high as 40 degrees on Thursday. A red extreme heat warning has been issued by the Met Office for Wednesday and Thursday with amber warnings in place today and tomorrow.
There are fears that the adverse health impacts, not just on the most vulnerable, could pose “serious illness or danger to life”.
Meanwhile, the UK Health Security Agency has issued a red heat health alert which will come into effect at 1am on Wednesday, lasting until 11pm on Thursday.
