A heat health alert has been issued for Worcestershire as temperature are set to break 30c once again.
THE UKHSA has issued the alert from 9am on Monday (August 3) to 9am on Wednesday (August 5) across the West Midlands
A spokesperson for the UKHSA said: “Significant impacts are possible across health and social car services due to the high temperatures, including a rise in deaths, particularly among those aged 65 and over, or those with health conditions.
“There may also be impacts on younger age groups.”
The spokesperson also warned of a likely increase in demand for health services and a potential increase in water-related incidents such as cold-water shock and drowning
The Met Office has forecast highs of 32c on Monday, dropping to highs of 27c on Tuesday.
From Wednesday onwards, temperature highs will sit between 22c and 24c.
