Man named and charged following cannabis raid in Worcester

A MAN has been charged following a cannabis raid in Worcester.

Aldri Pirja, of London Road, has been charged with cannabis production offences following a warrant in Worcester on April 8.

The 22-year-old entered no plea at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on April 9, and is set to appear at Worcester Crown Court on May 5.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “A court date has been set for a man charged with cannabis production offences relating to a warrant executed in Worcester last Wednesday (8 April).

“Aldri Pirja, of London Road, Worcester, was charged with production of a controlled class B drug – cannabis and being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.

“The 22-year-old was charged on Wednesday before being remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday (9 April).

“No plea was taken and Pirja was remanded until Tuesday 5 May to next appear at Worcester Crown Court.”
