A care home is opening its doors to the community for a day of tours and activities.
Elgar Court, Malvern’s newest residential care home, will welcome visitors on Saturday, June 20 from 10am to 4pm with tours, refreshments, and entertainment throughout the day.
Guests will be able to enjoy freshly prepared home-made cakes created by the home’s Head Chef, and visitors will have the chance to meet staff and explore the facilities.
Sarah Cadwallader, general manager for Elgar Court, said: “We are thrilled our care home has been voted best in Worcestershire 2026 and we are always ready to welcome visitors.
“It’s a wonderful way for people to come and find out about the exceptional care we provide, and meet the friendly team looking after our residents.

The open day will give families considering care the chance to explore the home and learn about the services on offer.
Facilities at Elgar Court include a lifestyle café, spa bathrooms, hair salon, and a weekly programme of entertainment, activities, and trips out.
Residents enjoy private en-suite bedrooms with smart TVs, access to multiple communal lounges, a cinema room, and an activity centre.
The care home team will be on hand to answer questions about daily life at Elgar Court and the care options available.
Elgar Court regularly welcomes families for private visits outside of open day events, offering flexibility for those wanting to look around at their convenience.
The team hopes the event will help the community feel more informed and comfortable about choosing care for themselves or a loved one.
