A development partner is being sought to help transform Worcester’s historic Shrub Hill railway lands over the next 20 years.
Worcestershire County Council and Worcester City Council are seeking an experienced partner to help deliver the long-term vision for the approximately 35-acre site.
The project follows market engagement earlier this year and builds on investment already made in the area.
This includes site remediation, demolition works, public realm improvements, and active travel infrastructure.
Over the next 20 years, Shrub Hill Quarter has the potential to deliver more than 500 homes, create employment opportunities, and provide new public spaces, Worcestershire County Council said.
It will also strengthen links between Shrub Hill Station and Worcester city centre.
The development has been structured to be delivered in phases.
Councillor Adam Kent, deputy leader, said: “We have a clear vision agreed with Worcester City Council, and what we need now is a partner.”
