A Pilates studio is introducing new reformer classes to expand its services.
Elevate Pilates, based on Severn Street in Worcester city centre, will now offer both mat and reformer Pilates sessions, alongside one-to-one classes.
The studio is run by Elly Cope, a chartered physiotherapist and APPI-qualified Pilates instructor who relocated to Worcester from Cardiff and has been teaching mat Pilates in the city since February.
Ms Cope said: “I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s supported Elevate on the Mat since I started – it’s your support that’s made it possible to bring Reformer to Worcester too.
“Adding Reformer means I can offer an even wider range of movement and rehab-focused work, but Mat classes aren’t going anywhere – there’s genuinely something here for everyone, whatever your goals or budget.”

Mat Pilates relies on bodyweight resistance and is designed to improve core strength and control, while reformer Pilates uses a spring-loaded machine to provide adjustable resistance and support.
This equipment makes the class particularly suitable for injury rehabilitation or for those seeking to progress their practice further.
To celebrate the launch of the new classes, Ms Cope has introduced the Elevate Hybrid membership, which allows members to access both mat and reformer sessions at a discounted rate throughout September.
The studio continues to offer a range of flexible pricing options, including pay-as-you-go classes and monthly credit memberships.
Outside her studio work, Ms Cope also leads gentle chair Pilates classes at the Worcester Warriors Foundation’s dementia café, supporting attendees, their families, and carers.
She said this is “a truly rewarding and heart-warming role.”
