TEACHERS at a primary school are set to go on strike over a dispute about workload.
Grimley & Holt C of E Primary School is expected to remain open despite news that staff will strike for four days.
The industrial action, which will begin this week, is allegedly over staffing and workload disputes between staff and the school.
The school revealed that some adjustments to staffing and the curriculum may be needed throughout the strike action.

Kate Wilcock, executive headteacher at Grimley & Holt C of E Primary School, said: “We respect the right of staff to take industrial action and remain committed to working with the NEU to seek a resolution.
“Throughout this period, our priority is to minimise disruption to pupils’ education and wellbeing.
“We expect the school to remain fully open, although some adjustments to staffing arrangements and elements of the curriculum may be necessary.”

The primary school in Grimley is for pupils aged 4 to 11 and has a capacity of 105 pupils.

Teachers are expected to begin striking tomorrow (July 1) and into next week.
