The tiny Worcestershire village that several England football players call home

A QUIET village in Worcestershire has become a magnet for many England football stars.

Barnt Green in Worcestershire, just 10 miles south of Birmingham, is home to around 1,800 residents across 816 households—but among them are an unusually high number of England players that call the area home.

England superstar midfielder Jude Bellingham is said to have bought land in the village last August to build a five-bedroom, four-level home, according to the Daily Mail.

One of Jamelia’s claims to fame was her hit single Stop which was played in the film Bridget Jones while Bridget was spying on Mark to see if he was cheating on her.

Barnt Green is also home to Gymshark founder Ben Francis, who has been named the UK’s youngest billionaire.

They thrashed Croatia 4-2 on Wednesday, a match in which Bellingham scored a superb goal.

Their next match will be against Ghana on June 23.

Recent friendly results have been promising, with wins over Costa Rica, Serbia, and Albania.
