A new Worcester city centre sports and cocktail bar has thanked customers for their support after enjoying a busy opening weekend.
Social Sticks officially opened its doors in Angel Place on Friday (October 23) following almost three months of renovations to transform the former Dartside venue.
In a message shared after the launch, the owners described the first few days as “a bit of a whirlwind” and thanked everyone who had visited the venue.
The team said: “A massive thank you to everyone who’s walked through our doors, come down to show their support, even our loyal customers from Bromsgrove, and helped make our opening weekend so special.
“We’ve loved seeing you all enjoying the space, and this is only the beginning.”
Worcester is the second venue for the business, which first opened in Bromsgrove around two years ago. The Angel Place site features virtual golf simulator bays, interactive dartboards and large screens showing live sport.
General manager Max Chinook previously said the team had spent 10 weeks renovating the building after securing the city centre location.

The venue welcomed its first customers on Friday after hosting a family and friends event earlier in the week. Mr Chinook said the opening night was almost fully booked from 5pm, with all golf bays and dartboards occupied.
Following the positive response from customers, the owners say they have more plans in store for the venue.
Their message concluded: “We’ve got so much more to come, and we can’t wait to welcome even more of you through the doors.
“From all of us at Social Sticks, thank you. See you at the bar!”
