THOUSANDS of children across Worcestershire have found out which school they will be attending in September.
Nearly all of the county’s children received an offer from one of their top three preferred schools, with 94% being offered a place at their first choice primary or first school.
Every family that applied for a primary, first, or middle school received an offer, with Worcestershire County Council receiving 5,693 applications for primary and first schools, alongside 2,397 applications for middle schools.

Sarah Wilkins, Assistant Director for Education at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Starting school is a significant milestone for children and families, and today marks an exciting step forward for many across Worcestershire. We’re pleased to see so many families receiving an offer at one of their preferred schools, and our team remains committed to making the admissions process as clear, fair and supportive as possible as children begin their education journey.”
