A NEW creative shop filled with original artwork is opening its doors this weekend in Bransford.
Artists Clubhouse, a Worcestershire-based creative enterprise, will launch its first physical shop at The Fold on October 31.
Located in Studio Three just outside the café’s back entrance, the new space will showcase art, prints, cards, gifts and clothing—all made by local talent.
Emily Johnson, founder of Artists Clubhouse, said: “We are so excited to open our first location, a true home for creatives of all levels.
“It lets us explore new ideas and adventures with our growing community, while helping working creatives grow their own businesses.”
The shop will be managed by artist Jo Bonomini, who has also taken on the role of artist in residence.
Visitors can expect to see her leading workshops and events, or working quietly on her own landscape paintings and lino prints.
Ms Bonomini said: “Emily and Kirstie Gregory have built an amazing business and community over the last six years.
“I first found Artists Clubhouse three years ago, looking for creative wellbeing resources, and I haven’t looked back.
“Now I’m joining the team, which is wonderful.”
Artists Clubhouse supports people of all experience levels, from complete beginners to those facing stress and anxiety, as well as creative small businesses.
The organisation has become known for its Lights, Camera…Paint event during the Worcester Film Festival, its House of Horrors Halloween exhibition at The Artery Studios, and its free Creative Club workshops, which have received National Lottery funding for three years running.
The team’s wider goal is to help people across the country build confidence, find a creative passion and launch small businesses.
The shop will be open from 10am to 4pm on Thursday, October 31, and Friday, November 1.
Visitors during the opening weekend will receive a free drink, a chance to try collage art, and the first 15 customers who make a purchase will receive a goodie bag.
