WORCESTER Bridge was closed for around 45 minutes this evening – here’s everything we know.
Worcester Bridge was closed from around 6.30pm until 7.15pm this evening (April 7), for an incident.
West Mercia Police has been approached for comment, however police officers and ambulance crews were pictured on the bridge.
Pictures from the scene show a handcuffed man sitting against the side of the bridge and being treated by paramedics.
One witness said: “It’s been absolute chaos mate. The bridge has been closed for at least 30 minutes. It looks like police have arrested a man and he was put inside the back of an ambulance.”
Worcester Bridge had reopened by 7.30pm.
