A HISTORIC cottage in need of full renovation is going under the hammer.

A Grade II-listed four-bedroom property – Walnut Tree Cottage, on Wheatley Lane, just outside of Upton-upon-Severn, will be sold by public auction on July 22 at 2pm.

Pughs estate agents, based in Ledbury, have placed a guide price of £200,000 on the detached cottage.
