Worcestershire pub company fined £45,000 for illegal workers

A WORCESTERSHIRE pub company has been fined £45,000 for employing illegal workers.

Eridge Green Ltd was among businesses nationally who were given civil penalties between October and December 2025.

The business’s registered address is given in the government document as Office 2, Crown House, Church Row, Pershore.

However, accounts at Companies House show Eridge Green has changed its address since the fine was issued.

The company is now registered at Office 6 at the MCF Complex in New Road, Kidderminster.

The accounts were due on January 5 this year and are overdue, the register shows.

The nature of the business is listed as ‘public houses and bars’ and there is one director.

Worcester News was unable to reach Eridge Green Ltd for comment.

Releasing the information today (Friday), UK Immigration Enforcement said that 525 penalties had been issued over the period, with 620 illegal workers found.

The total value of penalties issued amounted to £26,470,000.

Employers who have not paid or are not making regular payments towards a penalty 28 days after they exhausted all their objection rights are named.

Those who have been served with a second or further penalty after they have no further redress are also liable to have their identifies publicly disclosed.

The latest release follows the Home Office announcing in January that illegal working arrests and raids have reached the highest level in British history due to “relentless activity” by Immigration Enforcement teams.
