CUSTOMERS have been given a first look inside a Worcester pub that has reopened its doors after undergoing a major six-figure refurbishment.
The Talbot, on Barbourne Road, welcomed customers back through its doors today (August 28) following extensive work both inside and outside the venue.
The investment has transformed the much-loved pub, blending traditional features with a modern design while retaining its character.

Jo Rooksby, general manager at The Talbot, said: “Welcome to the new-look Talbot,
“It is great to be open again.
“There is something for everyone here, whether you want a drink with friends and colleagues or a meal out with family.
“We are what a great pub is all about, a place where people can meet up, chat, eat, drink and play or watch sports and entertainment.
“We can’t wait to welcome both our lovely regulars and new customers in to see all The Talbot has to offer.”

Stepping inside, customers are greeted by a warm and stylish interior featuring striking patterned wallpaper, wooden flooring and soft ambient lighting.
Deep teal banquette seating runs along one side of the pub, complemented by mustard-coloured chairs and polished wooden tables, creating a contemporary feel.
The layout has also been reconfigured to create dedicated bar and dining areas, while sports fans can enjoy a new sports zone complete with pool, darts and state-of-the-art television screens showing Sky Sports and TNT Sports fixtures.

Outside, the transformation continues with a revamped beer garden.
A large covered seating area features exposed timber beams, hanging industrial-style lighting, and a mix of high tables and casual seating, allowing customers to enjoy the space year-round.
Newly refurbished booth-style seating areas have been introduced, finished in soft pastel tones and surrounded by fresh planting, offering a more private setting for food and drinks.
Traditional brickwork has been retained throughout the garden.
As part of the refurbishment, the pub’s exterior has also been updated with new décor, lighting, planting and improved seating areas.
The pub’s food and drink offering includes everything from light bites and pub classics to traditional Sunday roasts.
