It is the final weekend of September and autumn is in full flow across Worcestershire.
While this time of year often feels quieter, there is still plenty going on in the county, with events offering autumn food, films, music and family activities.

Malvern Autumn Show

The Malvern Autumn Show celebrates the harvest season with giant vegetable displays, gardening talks, food and drink producers, shopping, livestock attractions and entertainment.
Visitors can explore horticultural exhibits, watch demonstrations from leading experts and enjoy activities suitable for all ages.
Worcester Film Festival

The festival brings independent cinema, documentaries, short films and special screenings to venues across Worcester.
It showcases work by emerging and established filmmakers, with opportunities to discover productions that may not be shown in mainstream cinemas. The programme also includes networking opportunities and discussions celebrating the creative arts.
Gala Organ Recital
Location: Worcester Cathedral, Worcester
Date and time: Saturday, September 26, at 7.30pm
Internationally renowned organist Martin Baker will perform on Worcester Cathedral’s Quire Organ during the annual Gala Organ Recital.
The concert marks the instrument’s 18th anniversary and offers a programme of organ music in one of the county’s historic settings.
Hanbury Hall Apple Harvest

Hanbury Hall’s Apple Harvest celebrates autumn and the historic orchard at the National Trust property.

Ferment the Fold 2026
Location: The Fold, Bransford, near Worcester

Ferment the Fold explores the art and science of fermentation through workshops, demonstrations and opportunities to learn about fermented foods and drinks.
Visitors can discover traditional preservation techniques and learn more about sustainable food production at the community-focused Fold venue.
