“Following the loss of my mum last year, dogs have genuinely helped me heal and rebuild, so to now be recognised for doing something I truly love means more than I can put into words.
“If my mum were still here, she would have been the very first person I’d have run to and told, and I know she would have been incredibly proud.

“The last couple of years have been emotionally very difficult with grief and ongoing coroner and ombudsman battles, and honestly, these dogs and their owners have helped me more than they will ever truly know.”
What are the Animal Star Awards?
The Animal Star Awards were founded in 2016 to recognise those who go above and beyond for pets and their families.
Those who become finalists need to be nominated by clients, residents or shoppers.

Several of Mrs Gibbs’ clients, like Jess Shenton and Gayle Daubney, shared how it is her love for their animals and how she treats them like her own which makes the business stand out from others.
Mrs Gibbs added: “People are trusting me not only with their dogs, but with a huge part of their family life too.
“Thank you so much to every single person who has trusted me with their pets, supported my little business, recommended me, shared my posts, and believed in me along the way.
“It honestly means everything.
“And of course, thank you to all my four-legged clients for keeping me muddy, busy, smiling, and very loved.”
Mrs Gibbs has now applied for my boarding license in a bid to progress her business further and will soon be looking to take bookings.
